The Chasing Song
One of my all time favorite songs; from one of my all time favorite artist Andrew Peterson! I know this maybe subjective but I think it's one of the best songs ever written, this and 'The Silence of God.' For certain, as music fan, he (Andrew Peterson) is one of the best song writers I've heard. Don't make my affections (what may be deemed as subjective) for this song take anything away from the God glorifying, and self decreasing truth found in the lyrics; have a listen and enjoy! And Jesus chased the money-men, and he chased His Father's will, He chased my sin to Calvary, and He caught it on that hill, And Saul he chased the Christians, till his blindness made him see, David, he chased God's own heart, all I ever seem to chase is me!
